Claire Roberts is an inaugural NHMRC Investigator Fellow and Matthew Flinders Professor at Flinders University. She moved her research group to Flinders University in March 2020 after 25 years at University of Adelaide where she is an Adjunct Professor. She leads the Pregnancy Health and Beyond Laboratory (PHaB Lab) at Flinders and studies maternal health in pregnancy and beyond. She has particular interests in modifiable risk factors for pregnancy complications and has developed algorithms that predict risk for pregnancy complications long before symptoms arise. She has led a number of large cohort studies and is following up maternal and child health in the years after pregnancy.
